Okay, I have a new boyfriend and he's a really great guy. Everything is going really well except whenever I'm with him and I'm quiet for more than 10 seconds he says "What's the matter?". It's driving me nuts. I'm not sure how to take it...if I really act like something is the matter or if he's just nervous. Has anybody ever had anything like this happen?

tht happens alot with me and my dad.
when im not excited about something and just talkin plain, my dads like "whats ur problem?" and im like "nothing.." and my dad gets all mad cause i dont tell him my "problem"
