In a couple of months i'm going to find a job and start saving for my car and start becoming a ricer ^__^.

I was just wondering what direction some of you fellow gear heads are going or to some of you people out there what direction would u go in.

I agree with every single thing perfeng said.

As for the people who hate on Civics, let me tell you something. Not all Civics are like that, it's the owners who don't know what they're doing. Civics are cheap, reliable, and fuel efficient cars that are almost perfect for students who just received their license. And don't automatically assume any civic you see is slow, look at the SI. If you find it ugly, I can't argue because everyone has their own taste, but it is by no means a piece of sh!t car. It's only most owners that don't know what they're doing and give the car a bad reputation

To the person who started this thread, its YOUR car, do what YOU want to it, don't let other people's opinions intimidate you and your decisions. Cars that are both good looking and fast COST A LOT of money, keep that in mind. I, personally, would go for the looks. Now, after saying that, people are probably going "Oh take me on the streets and i'll smoke your ass", but let me tell you something, not everyone cares about the speed of the car. And almost no one is going to look under the hood of your car in a parking lot and go "damn, nice car". Those comments go to the cars that are tricked out looks-wise and/or with good sound systems, dvd players, etc. You act like having a fast car is so good, think about the safety of you and others. If you have a fast car, you're going to race, and if you race, there's always high danger involved. And even if you don't race, you're going to drive fast right? And driving fast = higher chances of accidents. And if you tell me "no i know better than not to drive fast," then WHY THE H3LL do you want your car to be so fast?!

(Disregard the previous statements about speed if you race at the tracks )

Hah, talk about respect. This isn't fast and furious where they have organized street races every night. Most people won't even know how fast your car is. But if your car is tricked out exterior-wise, then you're going to have heads turning, people staring, and drooling involved. And the only respect you'll get by being fast is from the people at the tracks and the people you race, which isn't a whole lot.

BUT!! that is me. I'm not trying to start an argument here because everyone is entitled to their own opinion
