like i kno alot of ppl out there have internet relalonships but how can you maintain it... like you guys are so far apart...and the person u might be talking to could be a perverted old fat man in front of a computer with a hard on??????

and like my friend had one and it didnt work out cos he cheated on her....what do you guys do???

har, there are a lot of stupid people thinking thier true loves are the people they made out with in the movie theatres the other day.

have you ever been in one? unless you've dated both on and offline (and you've managed to maintain a pretty lengthy relationship), you don't really have the right to compare or talk **** about internet relationships.



technology is wonderful, isn't it? ;o it brought us webcams, telephones, computer games, and movies downloadable online! whoa! there is no limit to what you can "do". the only thing lacking in an internet relationship is physical contact, which can easily be fixed when the couple decide to meet up. sometimes it's even better that way so you get to know the person through their thoughts/writing rather than fall "in love" with their drop dead gorgeous looks ;x

Sometimes, it doesn't matter. I mean, you love who you love. Usually, I'm not into the whole internet dating thing, but sometimes...

I've been hurt in relationships before, gave up on ever finding someone to love because I was made to believe I wasn't good enough. I've come to realise that most American males are chauvanistic... I've yet to meet one who isn't, even subconsciously. Then I met someone online. We were friends for a while, flirting innocently... Until we admited that we liked the other.

My longest relationship offline: 7 months - full of pain
My online relationship: Almost a year and full of love.

It takes a lot of trust. It takes a lot of patience. I'm planning on moving to be with him at the end of this school year. It just... Depends on the person.
