whiny ass firefox users, grow up Options

im just gonna paste what i put on some other forum i found in someones sig here.. i think it was marias..

but yeah it annoys me when people complain about sites that arent compatible with your browser. you CHOSE that browser, not them, so quit your bitching.

you have the choice of using any browser you want. you picked mozilla/firefox. the others chose IE. remember that it was your choice. and its their choice how they want to code something. if it doesnt happen to be compatible with your browser... well then dont complain. no ones telling you to look at them. im sorry but it annoys me when firefox users whine about ie users. its a free world, and people are free to choose whichever browser they want, and however they want to code their sites. just because you happen to have a site doesnt make you a "professional" nor does is mean you want to be a "professional" or even claim to be. take my sites for example... both of them arent compatible with firefox. ive had a lot of people complain to me about it. if you think its annoying that our sites dont work with your browser, think of how annoying it is to have a bunch of people complain to you about it, when they were the ones that chose to access that website. no ones forcing them to.

oh and scrollbars.. i use ie. the majority of the world uses ie. yes firefox is growing, but its still in beta. ie will be the majority browser for a while. since im using ie, then using scrollbar style tags sorta makes sense, doesnt it? if you use firefox, then fine you dont have to use it. thats your perrogative.

im not trying to be a b*tch or anything, but people should really look at both sides. i realize its annoying for you to look at sites that dont work with firefox. a lot of people dont even know what firefox is. mozilla hasnt been around as long as IE has, and people are still getting used to it.

so what im trying to say is just give people a break.

i'd like to add that just because u didnt take the time to make it compatible with firefox, doesnt make you stupid, or lazy. grow up.

I use Mozilla. I don't really mind when some things don't work in Mozilla because their proprietary to microsoft IE. But, I do get angry when some sites deny access to anyone but IE users. I was going to the yahooligan's tv section (they have the old mario and LOZ episodes), and I was shocked that my browser was denied access. I tried switching my user agent to IE (hehehe), but still, the same "Your browser doesn't meet the requirements" sign came up. So I contacted yahoo. And they said something like:

Thank you for contacting yahoo support. The feature you mentioned is no longer available or supported by Yahoo. Thank you for your concern.

At first, I was pretty sad, because then I wouldn't be able to watch my cartoons anymore, but then I got curious. I checked the Yahooligans! TV section and the cartoons were still there! They flat out lied to me!

So I'm trying not to use Yahoo!'s services anymore.
