So umm... I didn't realize I was going to have to teach an Ebonics 101 class on this "really intelligent, 'look at me I'm extremely popular and a very cool person'" site.

I thought the majority of people on this site would be able to grasp a basic transliteration of terms. The question is, "did I go to school?", and the obvious answer is yes.
I pose a different question. Do any of you have any social skills or even a simple understanding of anthropology, enough so, that you can react to someone with dignity as opposed to acting like pompous jackasses in a place where nobody important couldn't possibly care any less about how cool your xanga site is, or how quickly you gang up with narrow-minded, carbon copy comments in a sad ploy to build your self-esteem and get more private messages from that "one girl from Cali with the pimpin' xanga, shoo'"?


I didn't know every single entry on this site had to be about world hunger, world peace and other extremely important issues like who's the hottest blogger.

Why don't all of you haters [translation: dim-witted, arrogant, retards] think before you speak and use some discernment next time before you begin to think (which is a huge stepping stone for some of you, I'm sure) you know what's going on. Stop acting like complete imbeciles and understand that once you finish puberty, get out of high school and/or actually realize how the grown-ups act, nobody is going to put up with you or think your little cliques are, "off tha hook fasho, fasho".

I agree completely with you and I would also like to add that I have an active interest in webdesign as a hobby (my friends think I'm weird because they're typical teenagers who love to shop and be rich and cheat on their boyfriends.) Since I obviously have no friends at school or whatever who are interested in this, I come to cb to sort of get ideas about webdesign, and I use my xanga to experiment. I find some of the topics here in community center extremely amusing (as well as the people) so I respond to them, and most of the time they don't enjoy my comments as much as I don't enjoy reading ridiculous posts made by 10 year olds. However, in NO WAY would i ever view a forum online as some sort of "social grouP" or contest. Honestly, if anyone had a life would they be posting out the a$$ on the computer all day? I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just happen to be offending you guys and I'm sorry. But yeah.... for those of you who do view this as some sort of social group and have "inside jokes" with your cb "friends," i just think that's ridiculous and stupid. or you have cb boyfriends or girlfriends. I'm sorry who I offend but I think it's pathetic how anyone can say "I love you" to someone online who you've never even met before. I view cb as an amusing place to comment in topics to people who actually take this site seriously. I'm sure most of you could tell by now? The only thing I take seriously on cb are the webdesign things.


Oh, and braggtastic, i don't think you need to use large words to try to impress anyone, because I can almost guaruntee that even I, the short skirt vain b!tch of cb, am smarter than you in some respects and I can understand exactly what you are saying without having to read idiotic words like "imbeciles." Seriously who cares, I've hated that particular word since I first watched 101 Dalmations as a five year old.


Soooo to sum it up, YES cb cliques are extremely useless, and seems to be a haven for those of you anti social kids who are stuck at home day and night getting paler and paler. I hope to god no one here considers me part of a "CB Clique" because I am not, and i also hope to god that no one here considers me part of their "CB Clique."
