For me i think online friendship is alright but I don't agree with online boyfriends or girlfriends because you don't know who they really are and what they're all about. For all you know they could be some old perverted man looking to play/cyber with some young girl. I just find it so sick and twisted.
I wouldn't go meet anyone from the internet. You hear all those scary stories about it like people getting raped and killed. Its better to have a b/f or g/f for "real" rather than on the internet. At least you can see them face to face and give them real kisses and hugs. But when your online you just have to be careful and be safe. Not everyone is like that so don't get too suspicious. Just use common sense! |

QUOTE(Thradrien_Blake @ Aug 24 2004, 6:46 PM) Not true. Some people's personalities are only complete when they're writing it out. An online relationship only won't work when there's not enough imagination in it. "writing" and "typing" are two different things to some...u can put more expression through writing rather than typing (unless...what? u plan on using AIM emoticons to express your feelings). and what do u mean "not enough imagination"? sounds pretty bland imo. |
