QUOTE(ComradeRed @ Aug 24 2004, 11:07 AM) The New York Times is only very slightly liberal. It is probably one of the more centrist publications -- hwich is why it is used by the Senate and House in their testimony so much. Actually, I confused the New York Times with the New York Post, but the NYT can still have some conservative stuff in it. At least it tries to be fair...... .....But still....the media lets itself be controlled by right-wingers. For example, during the 2000 election, inflammatory stories were seen and heard left and right. They make up lies..."Al Gore's a Liar." Then, they repeat it. Then they push it into the mainstream media..."Tall Tales: Is What We've Got Here A Compulsion to Exaggerate?" I got that from the New York Times by the way. |
