A poem I wrote last night..

Her body stained with marks
And her mind stained with fear
She'll never make him leave
She will always keep him near

Strange what they call love these days
A punch in the stomach, a slap on the face
As long as he says sorry when he's done
She "loves" him... he's the one

Blinded by her loneliness
Ignorant to her life
He'll continue on with his loathesome ways
And ignore her painful cries

I'm not sure exactly why I wrote it. I just wanted to write something with more meaning than the crap I usually write...

It's probably one of the only poems I've written that I actually like...

Thanks for commenting, I was starting to think no one would ever say anything :P
