There are a lot of mix reviews about THE VILLAGE. I personally really did not like it. I went in with a lot of expectations and came out with nothing. I thought the movie was dull and it had no direction. The ending was just sort of like wtf??

i personally loved the movie....one of my favs...people were laughing when Ivy's sister told the guy..Lucious? i think his name was... that she wanted to marry him and he was just staring at her and then you saw her bawling her eyes out on the bed, it was funny.
 its scary the first time you see it because you arent expecting the things, but if you see it again, you realize what's going on and it doesn't seem scary anymore...but i liked the storyline.
