I wish that cartoon guy who walked around giving everyone hugs in the Badly Drawn Boy video would give Bill O'Reilly a hug. Le sigh.
A decent article (for once) on the biggest a-hole to ever live:http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story...-player=unknown |

Um... so should they not report facts?
Visiting NYC during an event is a bad idea ... New York City is built in a wedge between the Hudson River and teh Atlantic Ocean. To get into New York City from Jersey (where most people come from) costs an $8 toll and takes about two hours during the off-season, I guarantee you it will take at least four hours during the RNC. Whereas it takes about 10 minutes to cross the free tunnel into Boston. To compare how many hours that is, I drove from Pittsburgh, PA to Providence, Rhode Island earlier this year. It took more time to get from one end of New York City to the other than it did to drive across half of Connecticut and all of Rhode Island. When I was in Boston before the DNC, people were complaining about how it would disrupt the traffic and make everyone's lives inconvenient (which is why I chose to go before teh DNC, not during it) -- if this happens in Boston, imagine what it'll be like in New York City. Fox is to the right of most Americans ... every poll shows this. Granted, all the other news networks are to the left of most Americans, so having a right-wing network is a good thing, but calling it fair and balanced is inaccurate. |
