The Nature of the Lost
It once flourished under the sun- Basking in where once there was one- Feeling free to roam as it willed- But soon there wasn't much left to be killed- Rivers run dry- forests burn down- And a wave of bye to that ancient town- Successful demolition- Through the ambition of greed- a bead of sweat falls onto this silhouette- destruction of the lost- fencing for the cost- all the years of a life of labor only to be tossed, aside- and for those who lied- casting a blind eye- to those children that died- to think you never even tried- The bonafied lie of those who hide- behind there money and power- Try to cower in the shadows- The curse of man that everyone had chose- polluted snows blow in the wind- polluted souls go into the end- |
