Is having long hair then having short hair? like shorthair as like up to ur shoulders.. is having long hair harder to do like brush and llike stuff t do with it? im not sure if i wanna leave mai hair long for the first day of skool or keep it short

my hair wasn't cut right so the bottom is all uneven and weird. so im getting it cut short haha... long hair looks nice if its sorta layered and stuff but my hair is never cut properly so i live with short
