I'm curious. What do "normal" people think of band geeks? What do you think we really do at band camp? Do you think it takes hard work to do what we do? Do you consider marching band a sport or an athletic?

BAND GEEKS RULE!
I am in Marching band, Jazz band and Orch. I have never been to band camp becuase Im usually at basketball or softball camp at the time or I might be out of state. I does take LOADS of work, for example: trying to get the turns perfect in marching band, roll and high stepping, and memorizing more than two songs for when we march. I salute those who understand us and consider us "normal" becuase without music while you're watching a parade, you'll be very bored. Heh. I love my saxophone. LoL |
