I'm curious. What do "normal" people think of band geeks? What do you think we really do at band camp? Do you think it takes hard work to do what we do? Do you consider marching band a sport or an athletic?

dude, i am a band geek!!!!
and we do band stuff at band camp, duh. but that doesnt mean its not fun... QUOTE well, my school has marching band camp for 3 days in the beginning of the school year and the practices are really intense... they last for about 6 hours a day and we only get like an hour break in total.. first, we march without playing to get our steps right then we play and march when we have everything down.. but if one person makes a mistake, we do it all over again.. grr.. it's so evil.. thats it?? we go to band camp for a week in very hot july(though it was actually pretty nice this year) and we march and play for 8hours+ a day, and then they force us to play games, once we have no energy left to move. 3 days...be happy |
