I do not like Bill O'Reilly, but not because of his message.
Bill O'Reilly is a strongly partisan hack. A few weeks ago, he was scheduled to interview libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik on his show. This would've given Badnarik a lot of the publicity he needed. But then a Rasmussen Reports poll came out showing that Badnarik had 3% support nationally and 5% in the key battleground state of New Mexico (this is higher in the polls than Nader was last time). So guess what O'Reilly did? Rather than actually debate someone, he decided to cancel the interview -- because it might've harmed Bush's reelection chances. |
