well i wanted to do some vectoring but i don't have Illustrator so i played around with Photoshop...
 is that considered a vector? yeah, its not finished yet but i was just wondering |

go here for a demonstration. click on examples of work, and zoom in on the vectors. notice how the image doesn't get distorted?
pixel based images get distorted when you zoom in ;o |
