High School Dropouts Options

How can someone not pass highschool? I know two people who dropped out, and I have to wonder how dumb you have to be not to be able to pass H.S. They make it so you can graduate, even if you're a total buffoon. For example, the normal math curriculum includes : Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus, stupid people are allowed to take "Basic Math" and "Math for living" classes where the only requirment is that you can do basic arithmetic. I can only imagine what goes through an employer's head when they see that someone is a highschool dropout--its basically a sign that reads "I'm too stupid to live".

sometimes a PART-TIME job isn't enough to support a family. and if you had a child, who would take care of him/her while you were at school?? really, if you only had a part-time job that probably wouldn't be enough to pay for a daycare AND your basic needs. so sometimes, you HAVE to drop out of school.

^EXACTLY. They're too busy trying to handle things, and they need more than just a part-time job to support their whole family.

you know it's pretty jackass-like calling people who aren't as good in math "stupid people"
people drop out of high school for different reasons other than education..
like let's say..they got pregnant and they can't handle school and take care of a kid
im not saying its okay to drop out of high school
but you have a pretty close-minded point of view
