some stuff u can talk about:
- how US nationalism is making us feel superior towards other nations (such as Iraq), so we think we can just go in there and do our stuff - Patriot Act => was made after a period of high emotion (so it could pass), but it basically states that the gov't can hold anyone who they think looks suspicious (i think) - racism/ discrimination against middle easterners (since 9/11 terrorists were saudi) |
