The race for the best Handheld will start next year, but who will succeed? Nintendo will come up with it's new Dual-Screen system. Nintendo has ruled the Handheld industry. But, Sony is challenging. Sony is coming up with it's PSP. Sony has reputaion for the widest selection of games and in quality. I personally think PSP will succeed. Which one do YOU think?

Is it maturity, or admitting defeat...?

EGM recently had this comparison in their magazine. The staff voted 5 to 3 in favor of PSP. But the DS will be cool with Wi-Fi and a touch screen and it'll only be about half the price of PSP. But PSP can play movies and music which *gasp* must be bought directly from Sony, who woulda thunk. Anyways, it's still WAY too early to tell. But by looking at screen shots, both look very good, well graphics wise, I think a lot more chicks and gadget guys would like the PSP, so much sleeker and sexier.

Yeah, I read that issue, too...For a portable, the DS is WAY too uncomfortable; it is really big and not exactly the ultimate definiton of a "handheld".
But, on the other hand, PSP is one thing: Expensive. The price is going to be a big problem for them, unless they decide to give it a big first-week price drop or something. It's definetely not like PS2 against GameCube, because Nintendo has a good chance of winning, unless PSP gets something like...handheld Online Compatability?[I wish]
