QUOTE(ThePrincessofTKD @ Aug 10 2004, 1:10 PM) it`s illegal when you sell copied dvds or cds. ![]() but when it`s for your own personal use..then it`s not illegal. most of my dvds are copied dvds. ![]() ![]() we don`t like blockbuster because they don`t have labels. so we prefer hollywood video for their labels.. ![]() shhhhh!!! hehe.. I've got a collection of like 100 DVD's that exact same thing. Except no labels on discs, those can mess up the dvd's after a while, but there are cdcase inserts so u can see it. The software used in the DVD ripping process is a secret, the newer version isn't as good as the older version, and it has sheep eating popcorn while u rip the dvd, it's pretty cool. It takes up a bit of harddrive space to rip a dvd but I got lots of space so it doesn't really matter. Oh and for lables, you can just print out lables from the internet, it's that easy. Oh and back to the OP, I'm assuming your burner is in the computer since you're asking about software, well if you don't have another dvd reader then you need software, actually even if you did have another dvd reader you'd still need software. Hmmm, back to round one, I'd suggest DVD XCopy since that's suppose to make perfect DVD rips but I've never used it before, I've only used the one I have now, and I can't even think up the name, oh well. |
