HELP! my friend cuts herself its realli scary. she cuts herself 4 da fun of it
i tried persuding her 2 stop but she wont. wat can i du?

Alot of people think that cutting is a form of wanting attention... Some people do cut for attention but thats not all. Its also a sign of depression, which we all know about, but some people cut to realease their pain from within. For example if your feeling alot of pain from a breakup an arguement, or grief, a person may cut to show pain in a physical form instead of an emotional form.
You should really sit down with this person and ask whats wrong. Ask if something is bothering her, ask if you can do anything to help, ask if there is something that you can do to make her change her ways. Giving her attention is a good start, but if she stops cutting, make sure you continue the attention you give her. Its always smart to tell someone close to you. There are people out there who can help people who cut. hope this helps you out. |
