Didn't know where to put this, I just needed to vent my thoughts

So my friend has been going out with her boyfriend for I dunno 5/6 months and they've been having sex constantly, which is fine I mean her choice not mine and I don't judge her any less...

So me and my other friend are talking about American Idol and Fantasia and how she is cool and all and the other friend butts in and says that she shouldn't win because she has a kid and that having a kid at 19 is "immoral" especially to be on American Idol

So me and my friend flip out on her and tell her she is so hypocritical because she is having sex and it wasn't like it was Fantasia's choice to have a child she obviously didn't want a kid at 19 but she does and it's over with, doesn't mean it should stand in the way of her dream.

Then my friend brings up that its unfair to that Frenchie girl from last year because she got booted off the show because she did porn. Well I said, that was her choice and it was immoral and she knows it unlike Fantasia who yes shouldn't have been having sex but she didn't know she would have a kid. Unlike Frenchie who voluntarily did porn.

God she is such a hypocrite. Any thoughts? Sorry for being so long I just had to write.

uhhmmm... sorry, i'm going to have to dis-agree with everyone... just because your friend is having sex doesn't mean she's a hypocrite about fantasia having a kid... i read your other post... and saw that she's doing something to prevent from getting pregnant... i can actually relate to this post because my sister got pregnant at 18... she gave birth when she was 19... she's 21 now... i think my sister made a bad choice in life.. she too did not plan on getting pregnant.. but then again... she didn't really try to prevent it... i have sex... i'm 18... but i use sooo much caution... i take birth control pills.... AND we use condoms...

Fantasia VOLUNTARILY HAD SEX!!!! I believe everyone on this board knows that sex can lead to pregnancy.... and there are SOOOOO many ways to prevent from getting pregnant... but yet she still got pregnant... ????? how is she not going to know that she would have a kid.... ????

Un-Protected Sex = More chances of getting pregnant and STD's....
Protected Sex = Less chances of getting pregnant and STD's....

Most of the methods of protection... work 99.999999999999999999999% of the time....

but anyways... your friend IS NOT a hypocrite... being a hypocrite would be her getting pregnant and her still hating on Fantasia....
