when i had my first boyfriend, my cousins constantly made fun of him (not to his face of course...) sure i found it funny for a while, but it kept going... has this ever happened to you?

Hmmm... well kinda. My parents make fun of my boyfriend cuz he's really dark. They make jokes of how our kids are going to look funky... only to me of course, not to his face. They're not being racist or anything, don't think that. They're just pointing out the obvious. It doesn't really bother me I guess. I think his dark skin is beautiful and nobody can tell me different.
If it bothers you, I think you should confront them about it. And if they have any respect for you, this will stop. |
