Wishes and Physics, somewhat more of a logical debate.. Options

I found this on another forum and its pretty interesting.. what do you people think?

Basically, the scenario was that I wished that I had never wished for something.

Now, would wishing to have never wished for the previous wish create another dimension, or simply destroy everything that existed beyond that point, and start from that point, or rewrite the point in time that is now "blank"

I understand that if you go back in time to, lets say, kill yourself, you wouldn't have been able to kill yourself, so you have infinite recursion, or simpll a dimensional breaking point.

And if you travel into the future, you simply don't exist, and if you travel into the past 2 seconds earlier, and keep doing that, you can create matter from nothing, which is pretty cool...

So with the wish... how does it work? lol

Read and think carefully anyone.. I wouldn't be surprised if this gives you headaches...

more confusing is quantum mechanics. i'm reading a book now and my head hurts.

that's simple- wishes don't come true, and you can't travel in time.

but quantum mechanics is real. shine a light through a card with two slits, and 6 bars of light show on the other side.

4 extra bars, you figure it out.

Quantum mechanics is easy.. well the stuff that we did was..

ok ok, its a very theoretical scenario.. it doesn't matter if it oculd happen or not, but what would happen if it were to occur.. blah xp

Wait.. are you sure that's quantum mechanics? sounds like what we learn in AP Physics B (electromagnetism) here..

And though time travel isn't possible now, how do you know we cannot find a way; new scientific breakthroughs and innovations were discovered by dreamers, at one point, nothing of what we have in today's modern world existed.. just because it doesn't exist now doesn't mean it's not possible

I agree with kathleen. dude, im getting so confused tho. i get what everyone else is saying except for the topic poster  hahah im so lost.

iagree with the reset thing tho. its like, if you wish you never hd wished, then it goes back. dunno about eh cancelling out thing tho

But ok, if it goes back, then what? Would you have a chance to wish all over again?
