im a shy person when it comes to telling people u like them....well ive liked some1 for 1 yr and im thinking about telling him,but i dont have the guts to.what r some ways to approach him?

I've told a guy I liked them 2 times.
The 1st time it was on AIM... didn't turn out too well.  The guy got all pissed...The 2nd time it was in a note that said, "YOU." He kept asking me who I liked so I asked him if he still wanted to know so then I gave him a paper. Didn't turn out too well, either...
