how many people here play some sort of musical instrument? if you do, how long have you been playing and how did you learn?
i've been teaching myself piano for about 3 years and my friend just started teaching me how to play the guitar a few weeks ago.

I want to play clarinet and give up the guitar. It's not my thing, but I can guarentee you that when I tell my mom that she'll tell me I haven't been playing long enough, and that I'm actually really good. So the chances of my switching instruments soon is very slim.
