do u think its OK for elementary kids to date...when i go to the mall or w/e they r alwayz there w/o parents holding hands n stuff....its weird

i think dating in elementary school and even middle school (and sometimes in high school) is pointless. people date in elementary and middle school, and even early in high school because they:
- just want to have a gf/bf - want to be more popular - have friends who do it, and they wanna be part of the in-crowd - have no idea why they're doing it!?! (this applies more to the elementary kids) some kids might be like, "yea, but i really think i'm in love." sry , but thats 100% bs. love is such a complicated thing, and i highly, highly doubt anyone will truly be in love until they get older and mature more. why can't people just be close friends than bf/gf? is it because being together means you can do stuff together, like kiss, hold hands, and sexual activities? if that's the case, that's not true love...thats lust. just my thoughts -joe |
