Yeah, I found that quote and thought it was a great one to post in the relationships forum, especially since its like me.....I've been friends with John for 2 years now and have had this crush on him since the first time I talked to him. He's one of the best friends I have and don't want to ruin our friendship, but at the same time I would love to take things further. We flirt with each other and he's even told me he could like me as more than a friend. The problem is, when he's single he doesnt do anything, and now he's telling me bout his new gf. I can't see him or talk to him without wanting to just run up to him and giving him a huge hug or kiss.

Yeah, I have told him how I feel...but it was about a year ago (after we'd only been friends a year). I've seen him through several of his own crushes, and the unfortunate breakups that follow. The other night he actually thanked me for being his best friend through everything. I've been fortunate so far that he hasn't told me I'm the sister he never had---since all us girls know that is BAD news for relationship potential

I guess I'll try to tell him....wish me luck
