i think i'm gonna get a striahgt perm before school starts but im kind of scared. my mom wants me to even though its kind of expensive. She doesn't like watching me striahgten my hair every single day..so yah. I'm kind of scared to get it done though. I'm white and I have thick, curly-wavy hair. I wouldn't say my hair is like horrible...just i like it alot better striahgt. Have any white people gotten a striaght perm with like my type of hair? Im scared that if I get it it might look horrible and it would last for like 9 months...so yah..help?

i got one even though my hair is pin straight.. [my mom knew the owner and stuff so i got a huge discount] anyways, i really don't see a difference.. maybe it's because i don't have curly hair.. and yeah, it did feel like i had less hair when i was all done.. it takes about 5 hours, maybe more..
 very tedious... lol.. well, i say go for it... you won't know unless you try right?
