worst date ever, what was urz? Options

Last year in June/July(ish), this one guy asked me out. We were supposed to go watch a Finding Nemo with some of our friends. He invited some of his other friends that the rest of the group didn't know.

I slightly late by around five minutes, and I saw him outside the theatre as the previews were starting. I asked him where he was going. He said he was going to go look for his friends, and he told me to buy my ticket and go in ahead of him so I did. It kind of annoyed me that he asked me out but made me pay for my own ticket, but I brushed it off.

He never showed for the movie. I was bummed about that, sure, but at least I had people to hang out with. We wandered around the mall for about half an hour. Then one of the guys there, Eddy, decided to go to the lobby of the theatre and wait. (Eddy told me two months later that Jonathan, the guy that asked me out, had told him to wait for him at the theatre beforehand, but I was unaware of this at the time.)

After about maybe twenty to thirty minutes, we saw Jonathan come out of the other side of the theatre after watching 2Fast2Furious for the second time. He said that he didn't even like it that much the first time around. So he saw us, and we saw him. He ignored me. Me. HE was the one that asked ME out. So he stalked off without us. I was hurt.

That night, he IMed saying he was sorry for missing the movie. I just sorta gave him the cold shoulder, cuz I didn't really CARE about the movie and was more aggravated by him ditching me.

The NEXT day, he IMed me saying that he wanted to tell me "face-to-face" that he "wasn't ready for a relationship" but he wanted Eddy to be there. He had told me the day before that he couldn't find Eddy at the theatre. Bullshit. All lies. Anyways, I was just like.. wtf. Cuz he was the one that asked ME out.

The next morning, his mom called my house to ask if I was okay. WTF. WHAT KIND OF LOSER HAS HIS MOM TO APOLOGIZE?? And, I found out from one of my friends that he claimed that he broke up with me because "I was moving too fast." He did more than I did, so I had no idea what kind of bullshit he was making up.

Okay, anyways that's what happened. I haven't uttered a word to him since then, I try not to even look at him, and I barely even acknowledge his existance.

Worst date. Evar. Period.
