i really wanted to know how u guys started learning all about webdesign and layout making, what were ur resources and where u found them. when u started, like at wat age and how long it took u to master the art of layout making and html codes. im not really asking for help, i just need info on how long its gonna take me to finally know how to make layouts and all that graphics stuff. i dont wanna feel like its to late to learn and this is just a waste of time cuz really, i wanna do this webdesign thing. i just need ur guys background

i learned HTML myself...pretty easy, and since i had a great interest towards the language, it was a cinch. my resources? other people's source code :P
Macromedia Flash, on the other hand, wasn't easy and it took me at least six months to get the basics and another year to master actionscript (scripts for flash)...and it was STRESSFUL like no other since there is no "source code" to rip off of or anything like that. but hey, it all pays off. resources, for me, are simply other people's work in that particular area :D |
