need some help Options

well my ex gf and i had been going out for almost a year and her ex bf came over to help her study for a test... (i wasn't there) i dunno why she didn't have me helpe her study but.... ne way... they studied for liek 3 horus then watched a movie and they jsut stared at eachother and told eachother they loved eachother... (she told me this) and then after the movie he was getting ready to leave and on "accident" they kissed... and well this is the 3rd time she cheate on me.. and it made me so mad.. after beeting the living hell out of the guy and then 5 days oss i came back to school... and it was wierd... but ne way long story short it has been about 3 months almost and im still not over her.. and i need help to get over her.. so what would u guys suggest?

I have been there... It took me a long time to get over my ex too, even though he cheated on my numerous times. And I know that this is something that you have probably heard before and you may not be able to [or want to] realize it, but these things and feelings you have right noe can't be 'fixed' by just doing something, you can only give them time and eventually, even though it feels like it may never happen, you will be over her. Until then, you are just going to have to try to not focus on her at all. It's a hard thing to do, becasue I'm sure when you think about her you aren't just thinking about the cheating you're thinking about some of the good times yous had, and it's okay to be thinking about all of that, but try to keep it in the context of what you guys had, not what you wish it could be.
