to people who say that they believe whatever the bible tells them...

so basically if the bible says go jump off a cliff you will? if it says kill your mother or hate G-d you would? do have a problem with thinking for yourself or something? i just think that is stupid. you must have reasons other than just becasue the bible tells you. you must have a brain and be able to think for yourself...

personally i am jewish and i believe in the torah but i have my own resons for believing and disbaliving what it says. i does not believe everything, which do not make me any less faithful.

why do you "just" believe. don't you need some personal reasoning and what is it?

QUOTE
The Bible is a work of MAN, not God. There were several passages and chapters of the Bible that were CUT OUT by the early Church, who were desperately trying to erase all the HUMAN characteristics of Jesus Christ.

hahaha, id like to see some resources on that one

Religion is more of a political band-wagon than it is a matter of faith.

thats pretty interesting considering that nowa days its politically correct to not offend muslims, buddhists, and other religions but its alright to shutup the christians. its ok to offend and make us look stupid right? isnt that the reason why this thread was made? every single thread about religion is against only christians. why dont you make threads asking my buddhists, muslims, and any other religion why they believe in what they do? why do they only follow their holy books? seems to me Christians are being attacked..and we're very alone
