erm, why can't you? tell us some more about what happened... (i.e. you invited him, but he said no, or you're both too busy to hang out, or he's always with his friends, etc.).
But based on what you wrote so far, I would say just invite him to the movies, park, theme park, anywhere fun! I'm sure he won't mind going.
