I need some hours so I can have something to put on my college application.
So how does the whole hours thing work? Does it depend on your school? You go to the volunteering place, do some work, then what? Just put whatever amount you did when you fill it out? If so, then how do they know you're not lying?? Or do you need to tell your school? Thanks. And just out of curiousity, what kinds of things did you guys volunteer for?

for me, im signing up at the local hospital. I'm looking into seeing if i can volunteer at this one children's hospital tho, since i like children, but i dont know anyone from my HS that works there for community service so im like
 I heard that if you go to those feed the poor places with your church or something and feed them or whatever, that counts too, right?
