This past school year was really pressuring...all the drama and fights and friends and boys...especially for me...1)people always say im "perfect" which really gets on my nerves (but i don't show it) because IM NOT! 2) my friend likes this boy and she was too shy to talk to him so I had to...and then theres friends who are leaving...it's so sad! and stressful...how do i deal with the pressure?

QUOTE(Idyll @ Jul 10 2004, 3:32 PM) Wow, I was in the exact same situation. 1. Eventually, teachers noticed how uncomfortable I was when people called me "genius" in class, and they threatened to put everyone in detention if they didn't stop. Naturally, they did stop, in class at least. 2. When someone tells me I'm "perfect", I ask them not to describe me like that. Sometimes I have to explain why, but most people have stopped. 3. Actually, eventually, I told the guy why I was talking to him. He started talking to my friend, so I got out of that situation. 4. You can always keep in touch with friends. My best friend moved 5 hours away, but we call regularly, email, use AIM, and visit. Sorry, I can't really help. [I handled the whole thing badly, at the time.] that's exactly what I had in mind.. ![]() |
