[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1]Hmm I'm 19. A college students who works part time. Ever since I was 16 I've had a job which pretty much helped me be independent. As soon as I graduated high school and found a job.. my parents made me pay for everything I owned. Being filipino... most parents would get you things.. like your car and everything like that.. provide you with money when you need. Not mines.. well for me anyway. I have two other sisters (one older and one younger) and they get everything... I on the other hand dont get sh*t!!
I have to pay for: 1. My Car 2. My Insurance 3. My cell phone 4. My credit cards 5. and Entertainment Monthly that amounts to almost $1300.00 Damn! thats a grip load of money.. anyway.. my point is.. I HAVE SHIESTY parents... what about you??? |

My parents are the typical filipino parents who get me everything... I am also an only child which kinda makes me even more spoiled then I am... But i mean they do make me work hard for the th ings i get... And ya know you may be workin really hard and not get very much, while everyone else in your family gets everything, but you also gotta know that since your 19 and your doing all of these things independently, you'll also be alot more mature then most 19 yr old people ya know... Your in school, you work, you are mostly independent... You've got my respect, because i like it when people work hard to get where they are. So in a way you may be bummed out, but in another way you could be very happy
