CB, you ought to refocus your efforts into designing and coding shopping carts for aspiring entrepreneurs. There's still a lot of value to be mined - you all just have to be willing to find the "new" right tools for the job.
Get rid of the unnecessary boards. Downsize. Like delete the lifestyle and interest boards and get them to post in the Off-topic chat. Within the off-topic subboard, encourage "general threads" for fandoms and other interests, that you can minimize the amount of threads and instead potentially increasing the value that one gets per thread as it becomes one long "mega-thread" (value increases because information is centralized in one easy to find place and encourages others to post in a continuous and evolving megathread thread) Find new mods and encourage them only to prune threads, rather than involving themselves in the matters and drama of others. Enforce only OPSEC and matters that could jeopardize the freedom of another member. Of course if noone wants to do it, someone will have to buy it and do it themselves. Anyone want to go halfsies on buying CB? I think there's still value here. |
