Hope all is well.
It's sad to see a part of my young-adult life slowly erode away. But that's with all things. I'm blessed and cursed in different ways that I was able to experience love and heartbreak, friendship and enemies with so many different people here on createblog.com I've come back after what seemed like to me, an eternity and seeing what this site is now, I feel it's hard not to hold in my heart a sense of anger about the way things have gone. What happened? Who did this? I'm not innocent though, I didn't do enough and at the same time I may have done too much. The years of shit-posting and trolling may have done a number on myself and others here. Why did I do that? I don't know and I don't remember. Can you imagine? We've already and have been for some time now starting to grow older; hopefully with all your age you all will grow with wisdom and understanding - yet, so many of us have forgotten the days of our youth and instead replaced them with feelings of nostalgia. What will happen as you grow even older? Will you remember? And if you do, for what reason will you remember? I hope that you all grow into the full maturity of adulthood with all the pains, sorrow, peace, joy, understanding, discernment, honor, and respect that comes with grace and humility. Remember too when your children grow that you too were once young and vain, all puffed up with the knowledge of this passing world. And for the future, should it be decided that it will grow sour and dark and bitter, remember that time devours most all things. So those who have it all, be warned that one day your all will pass away. Those of you who are suffering and alone, remember that one day too, your pain and melancholy will pass away. It's been said that the journey is the experience. It's not. Where you end up at the end is more important than the progress itself because sleep will one day come to us all. Thank you once again and thank you a thousand times over. -edit Oh sorry, this is a contact thread. I don't have any contact information. I may make another AIM ID if that's what you hipsters do nowadays. Or was it snapchat? |
