My mom expects me to be the best at everything (well mostly in school work and whatever) and when I can't she says some really mean things that make me feel horrible. Like today, I was writing something and she told me that my handwriting was really nasty and that if I don't learn how to write better I could neer get a job and no one would respect me and things like that. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but it hurts and i just don't want her to keep saying stuff like that. I just don't know what to do

well you should tell your mom... that no one is perfect and you are doing the best you can!!! she should be happy that you are at least trying!!!
but yehh my dad is almost similar to your mom.. but he isnt that hard... but i do think thay asian parents ask too much from their kids!!
