Do you believe that there's one person in this world that's perfect for you? I definetly do, call me old fashioned. I think there's only one person who can make your heart feel a certain way. At least, I hope so, because if thats true it would be much more special than if you can share the same relationship with someone else.

well, since there's billions of people in the world, there might be more than one person for you (let's say 10% of everyone in the world). but since you only interact with a tiny portion of the total population during ur lifetime, you'll only find 1-3 people that you really like (about .5% of the 10%)... which leads you to believe that there's only one person out there for you. so statistically speaking, no. there's no such thing as a "one true love." it's all those Disney movies you watched when you were a kid playing tricks on you.
but. i like to dream, and yes. a little part of me still believes that there's only one guy that can make me feel like the luckiest woman alive. (you know what they say, statistics always lie). |
