Ok, I hope this is PG-13 but this isn't really nasty or supposed to be, but the question in the matter is:
Should condoms be distributed at school? Why or why not? (i.e.: to prevent pregnancies, STDs, etc.) What do you think? |

QUOTE(EmeraldKnight @ Jul 4 2004, 11:44 PM) Its illegal here.. Why should it be legalized? 1) Where is "here"? 2) It should be legalized because it is a victimless crime. The only way to enforce laws against a victimless crime is to violate the privacy of innocent people -- which does more damage in the long-run than the victimless crime itself. No one is harmed, so no one reports the crime. Therefore, the police cannot catch anyone, or even know that crimes occur, unless they spy on people, violating their legal due process rights under the Fourth Amendment. Now pedophilia is different. If a kid is seriously too young that it is considered exploitation, then the parents of the kid should be able to report the crime. But if it's a 16 year old, then no crime will be reported. The only way to enforce laws, therefore, is to snoop into people's private business. Sex is not the government's business. |
