Well you can't really compare the two pictures because the one of Rooney Mara is of her at a public event as herself, as opposed to in character like the one of Noomi Rapace. That's like comparing Hugh Jackman the Broadway star to Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
And again, Lisbeth wasn't described as good looking in the books. And if you just meant in terms of badassery, I think Rooney looks pretty f*cking badass here: |
