A Love Poem, called Goodbye Options

Goodbye
When it all comes down to this
A short goodbye and one last kiss

A smile appears
A smile that came to hide the tears

It was God's art
Two people with only one heart

A desicion that was thought to be made for the better
Was wrong because they still wanted to be together

But neither said a word
So not a single thought was heard

With fears of bringing back memories
They changed their locks and threw away old keys

They burned old clothes
Dried their tears and wiped their nose

And as they stood to walk away
They prayed and asked God for a brand new day

And they went to bed that night with their heads held high
They promised themselves they weren't going to cry

Lying lonely in their beds
As old images played back in their heads

They thought to themselves, Looks like tomorrow's just going to be another bad day
If the pain from tonight just won't go away.

wow...really good how long did it take you to find words that ryhme w/ it? and it's depressing yes...but good nonetheless

haha actually..the words came to me..especialy when I was laying in my bed. I was like HEY! I turned on a light and jumped out of bed to finish the rest. It wasn't exactly finding words that rhymed...It was finidng verses to go with the flow.
