have you guys ever done it? people keep telling me that it'd be weird having a male roommate that i'm not in a relationship with, but after having 2 male roommates, i think i disagree. i think i get along better with them than i ever did with my old female roommate.
but idk, those were short-term. i'm about to move into a 2br apartment that i'll be sharing with a guy for about 6 months, so i guess i'll see. but anyways, have you guys ever had a roommate of the opposite gender? was it weird? was it any different than living with someone that's the same gender? |

When my parents left the country for 2 weeks I had to live in the house with my 16 year old brother. The entire two weeks consisted of him making mess and me cleaning t up. In particular the kitchen. He works out and has some really weird eating patterns, so I'd leave for school with a clean kitchen and come home to an absolute mess.
5 plates, 3 cups, a grater, cheese, random bread, crumbs and smears. Usually with all the drawers open and milk or orange juice left out. I don't think it has anything to do with the gender but rather the fact that he's a bastard that doesn't care for anyone but himself even though I pleaded with him everyday to just put away anything he took out. |
