put metal in a microwave on accident?

no i haven't and that comes out of the years of being scared into "the microwave will explode" story from my parents.

no i haven't and that comes out of the years of being scared into "the microwave will explode" story from my parents. this, exactly this The microwave + metal thing actually won't do anything if the piece of metal is completely flat / has no high points for the electricity to arc over (or something like that). it would have to be perfectly smooth, even on a microscopic level everything would have to be perfectly smooth with no imperfections whatsoever. I imagine it would also have to be perfectly flat, as in totally without a third dimension. |
