California's Proposition 8, which introduced an amendment to the CA constitution that forbid gays and lesbians from marrying, was overturned by the CA State Supreme Court on the grounds that it is unconstitutional. (The case is being appealed to the 9th Circuit.)

i'm glad, i think it's the right decision.
i know this kind of stuff goes state by state and no one else is directly effected, but i wonder what it means for everyone else and what may end up coming from this on a larger scale |
