CB, what happen? This place use to be poppin, now i'm still seeing posts from 2 years ago! Is CB really #dead?

Of course CB isn't what it used to be when it was at its peak and glory. But honestly, i don't really expect it to be like that again (Atleast in the same way as it was to me personally). Many of those totally cool and awesome members have simply grown out of the site or have grown up in general. You also have to remember a lot of traffic came from people who wanted to code and design their Xanga or Myspace sites. Even official members were required to link a "Createblog button" from their myspace or xanga to THIS site. Who now actually has one of those still that they use? But at the time, xanga/myspace were the most popular sites (Facebook and Twitter didn't gain popularity yet, in which you don't need coding or are really given any freedom in designing your own page). We had a nice little close knit community of thinkers, designers, retards, and genuinely funny people. I kinda do miss those days . . . |
