With the recent Kennedy-Bush alliance (polar opposites at that) for the naturalization of illegal immigrants, a lot of people have come out strongly opposed to the idea and are quite unhappy that bush just brought it back up after the idea was killed.
Is there anyone out there that thinks it should be something that happens? If yes, please explain as I'm curious to see if there is another side (other than the politicians) to this issue and I want to know what makes you see it that way or where your opinions are derived from. Keeping in mind taxes, social security (haha as if that's going to last), unemployment, and them taking advantage of what's free in the nation (i.e. medicine/education) without putting back into the system. |

I don't care where the hell they come from, whatever motive they have, I just want them to pay their taxes like how I pay mine as a immigrant who has citizenship.
People think they get benefits when they start becoming documented. No, THE GOVERNMENT TAKE TAXES FROM THEIR INCOME. Don't you get it???? And if they get citizenship, they get taxed, maybe, just maybe it will help a little fraction of our deficit. A little is better than nothing. Just imagine how many people will start getting taxed once they're documented. And when they're legal, I want to make sure they are getting taxed. Everyone of them. |
