do you go to thrift stores? if so, what thrift stores do you go to?
i like buffalo exchange and rags to riches. except the other day i got this dress from buffalo exchange and i wore it once and the tie part fell off. that made me sad. :( but yeah, i feel bad whenever i go to a consignment or 2nd hand store because i feel like it's supposed to be for the needy, but i just like going to see if i can find any vintage stuff or surprisingly good finds. |

Buffalo Exchange is alright although it was more of a resale shop than a thrift shop, tbh. My brother worked at the one in Ventura, LA for a while so I went there quite a bit. Most of the stuff people brought in still had tags on. But it might've been just that one branch since it was quite a rich area. Wasteland was another one I used to go to. Fuck, I miss LA.
Them two always had wicked vintage items, but I doubt that's the case now. I know they only hire fashion-conscious people and only buy hip clothes, blah blah. I guess I found it better then when it was more *underground*. Nowadays I reckon they take any piece from Urban Outfitters or American Apparel and don't leave room for the proper swank stuff. |

It's seriously just like that now. Last time I went, all I saw were things from AA. Buffalo Exchange doesn't have unique pieces anymore. Wasteland > Buffalo, imo.
I've always wanted to go to Out of the Closet too. |
